Vendishy

The problem

A purchasing team receives a request for 25 parts as a photo of a handwritten list, a pasted email, or a spreadsheet with its own private formatting conventions. Someone then spends an afternoon sorting those lines into categories, deciding which vendor quotes which category, and building a separate sheet for each one.

What we did

Vendishy compresses that afternoon into a few minutes. A list goes in by paste, upload, or photo. Parts are categorized automatically. The user assigns one or more vendors per category, and the export produces a deduplicated master list plus a dedicated tab per vendor containing only their assigned parts.

Taking it to market

The build was half the job. We positioned the product against the specific moment of pain — the raw list sitting in an inbox — rather than against a generic procurement software category nobody searches for.

• Search and paid campaigns targeting the workflow, not the category
• A landing page that shows the transformation in three frames before asking for anything
• Onboarding email sequence triggered on first upload rather than on signup
• Conversion testing on the trial flow, which more than doubled trial-to-paid

The result

A typical 25-line request now goes from raw paste to a clean, vendor-split spreadsheet in under five minutes. Longer lists with more categories scale from there — still a fraction of doing it by hand.
